What we haul for Amazon

We are a contracted carrier on Amazon Relay. Our drivers run scheduled loads between Amazon fulfillment centers, sort centers, and delivery stations across the Midwest.

Scheduled loads and blocks

Loads are booked through Amazon Relay as single trips or multi-stop blocks. Every stop has an appointment time, and Amazon tracks on-time arrival for each one.

Drop and hook, live loads

Most runs are drop and hook with Amazon trailers. Some stops are live loads or unloads, where you wait at the dock until the trailer is ready.

Check in and check out at every site

Drivers check in at the gate or guard shack on arrival and check out before leaving. These records are how Amazon confirms the stop and pays the load.

Tracked through the Relay app

The Relay app tracks your location, stop times, and load status. Keep it running for the whole trip so the record matches the work you did.

Driver standards

Every driver with S and A Trucking follows these rules on every load. They protect your pay, your record, and the company.

Always have proof. For everything.

Even minor incidents need proof: photos, screenshots, check-in and check-out records, and the time it happened. If it is not documented, we cannot dispute it with Amazon and we cannot get you paid for it.

Always check in and check out at Amazon docks

Amazon pays loads based on check-in and check-out records. "The app malfunctioned" is not accepted as a reason for a missing check-in or check-out. If the app is not working, go to the Amazon site workers, have them check you out, and leave with proof before you drive away.

Be on time

Arrive by your appointment time. Delays happen and we understand that. When one happens, get proof of the reason and fill out a delay report in the driver help form.

Wear your safety vest

Your high-visibility safety vest stays on whenever you are out of the truck at any Amazon site. No exceptions.

Be respectful

Treat Amazon site staff, yard workers, other drivers, and our team with respect at all times. How you carry yourself reflects on all of us.

Report issues the same day

Delays, site problems, and pay questions are easiest to fix while the details are fresh. Use the driver help form and attach your proof.

This consent authorizes S AND A Trucking 1 LLC to conduct limited queries for the duration of my employment, including the annual limited query required for covered CDL drivers.

I understand that if a limited query indicates that information about me exists in the Clearinghouse, S AND A Trucking 1 LLC must obtain my specific electronic consent in the Clearinghouse before conducting a full query and viewing detailed violation information. I understand that if I refuse required consent, I may not perform safety-sensitive functions for S AND A Trucking 1 LLC.
